Milk Program
A healthy Nigerian Dairy doe can produce a surprising amount of sweet milk for her small size - up to two quarts per day or more. In addition, Nigerian goat milk is higher in butterfat (6-15%) and higher in protein than milk from most other dairy goat breeds. Many Nigerian goat owners enjoy the products made from their rich sweet milk like ice cream, yogurt, Kefir as well as many different types of cheese. Not that a plain, cold glass of milk is not just as delicious for a quick pick me up.
